Job Title: Data Science Expert
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Expert to provide critical support through methodological development in Statistical Data Science. The successful candidate will be involved in key areas of research including statistical spatial and spatio-temporal modelling, physical-statistical modelling, Bayesian inference and uncertainty quantification, optimal design, statistical machine learning, and time series modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and apply advanced statistical models for energy sector applications
* Collaborate with researchers on data science projects
* Communicate results to stakeholders through reports and presentations
Requirements:
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
* Strong background in statistical data science, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: statistical spatial and spatio-temporal modelling, physical-statistical modelling, Bayesian inference and uncertainty quantification, optimal design, statistical machine learning, and time series modelling
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
