Overview
As Finance Manager for the Personal Injury portfolio, you'll lead FP&A, finance business partnering and claims performance reporting for CTP and Workers Compensation. You'll manage a team of eight, deliver strategic insights, and empower leaders to achieve business goals.
This is a 12-month contract role in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
What You'll Do
* Lead finance business partnering for Personal Injury Insurance, delivering insights that drive strategic decisions and performance outcomes
* Oversee monthly close processes and ensure accurate reporting across P&L, BAU, and project spend
* Lead claims performance reporting and analysis for CTP and Workers Compensation
* Develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring robust expense allocation and project forecasting
* Provide expert financial modelling and advice for projects and business cases to support growth and innovation
* Mentor and coach a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
* Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance finance processes and reporting efficiency
What You'll Bring
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience; CPA/CA qualifications desirable
* Extensive experience in financial services with proven leadership in operational and strategic contexts
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
* Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail and seasoned business judgment
* Expertise in stakeholder management and building trusted relationships across senior leadership teams
