About the Position
We are seeking a seasoned Safety and Environmental Expert to join our team on a casual basis in support of a global gas client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive Health Safety, Security, and Environmental Management Plans for projects.
* Conduct thorough reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
* Implement and maintain Health Safety and Security aspects of Project Management Plans.
* Participate in risk management workshops and provide expert advice on Health Safety and Security matters.
* Support contract owners in meeting regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment with industry standards.
* Facilitate assurance activities, including audits, to ensure project compliance.
* Assist with hazard and incident management, reporting, and mitigation strategies.
* Prepare and deliver training sessions on Health Safety and Security protocols.
* Monitor decommissioning and project operations for adherence to regulations.
* Provide representation and expertise as required.
