Role Description
The Technical Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document requirements for critical IT projects. This role involves delivering actionable insights and ensuring solutions align with the university's strategic objectives..
Selection Criteria
Essential:
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in a technical environment, ideally within the education or public sector.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, process mapping (BPMN), software development lifecycles, and solution design.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and document complex business processes.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and process mapping software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Desirable:
• Certification in business analysis (e.g.,
CBAP
, CCBA).
• Experience working on projects involving Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
