Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Educator plays a pivotal role in upskilling nurses across various proficiencies, leveraging diverse approaches to facilitate learning.
This position involves providing clinical education, training, and evaluation of knowledge and skills to enhance nursing care within the designated health district.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering day-to-day and one-on-one clinical education as well as in-services tailored to meet team and individual learning needs.
* Mentorship and role modeling to foster a collaborative approach to learning and development.
* Monitoring and evaluating educational programs through clinical competency assessments within scope of role.
* Participating in the development and review of procedures and guidelines to improve provision of education advice and expertise.

Candidates will demonstrate advanced clinical nursing skills with proven knowledge and proficiency in utilizing technology relevant to the clinical area.
As an experienced educator with a sound understanding of learning and assessment principles acquired from both experience and education (such as Cert IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to work towards), this professional will provide clinical leadership and promote a culture of continuous learning and development within our established framework.
