Purchasing inventory and stock management is a crucial aspect of the Storeperson role.
Job Description:
* We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to manage inventory, stock purchases, and storage. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize tasks.
The successful candidate will also support maintenance teams with supply agreements and sourcing parts, engage with suppliers for quotes and manage purchase orders, develop standard equipment BOMs and improve key inventory KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish supply agreements with key suppliers/OEMs.
* Engage with suppliers for quotes, raise purchase orders and receive POs on delivery.
* Put physical stock away and report on and improve key inventory KPIs.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience within the automotive industry, including parts interpreting.
* C Class Drivers License.
* Basic computer literacy and ability to access and use required software programs.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
