About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Defence Team.
* This role involves planning Australian Defence Force (ADF) network maintenance, programmed maintenance, and operational activities.
* You will be responsible for recording maintenance plans in the Commonwealth Mandated Information System and managing work orders, scheduling, and parts requisitioning using the Commonwealth systems.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with Defence for weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning, maintaining clear communication with Defence members, APS staff, and external clients, identifying initiatives for continuous improvement of maintenance practices, preparing reports, addressing non-conformances, and implementing corrective actions.
You will conduct process audits and recommend safety improvements. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and reports in management systems.
Requirements
* A trade or tertiary qualification in mechanical or engineering fields is highly desirable.
* Qualification in planning or scheduling is also highly desirable.
* You should have experience in planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance in complex industrial environments.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
* You should have proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
