What You Will Be Working On
Your focus is simple but significant: lead your team to deliver exceptional service while delivering growth. You'll be the face of the business in your territory – be the reliable expert that applicators and contractors depend on for technical advice, prompt service, and honest communication - the leader who builds a culture of sales excellence and customer loyalty. Oversee dispatch, manage stock to showroom standards, and ensure the branch runs smoothly while maintaining the professional image the business is known for.
This role gives you genuine responsibility for the branch's success – your relationships, and leadership directly impact results. You'll tackle challenges that require trade knowledge, people skills, and commercial savvy, making every day different and engaging.
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
We're looking for someone who bridges two worlds: you understand the trade industry because you have worked in it or in a related field. You will have previous experience supervising or managing a small team to commercial success. You're comfortable picking up the phone to build relationships, coaching your team through challenges, and jumping on the forklift to meet customer demands. In addition you will have a ‘hands‑on’ approach willing to roll up your sleeves and work as part of the team.
* Background in epoxy coatings, flooring systems, or industrial coatings (though we'll provide full training)
* Experience in trade supply, construction materials, or building products sales
* Track record of meeting sales targets and developing high‑performing teams
* Fortklift licence
