**Human Resources Administrator**

We are currently looking for a
**Human Resources Administrator** on a part-time basis working
**$43/hour, **and the contract duration is
**3 months**. The commencement date is
**ASAP.**
**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
To provide assistance to the Human Resources Section on all human resources related matters and actively
contribute to ensuring an effective and professional service to the area's internal and external customers.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide effective day to day administrative support to the Human Resources Section to ensure that the appropriate service levels are maintained, and operational targets are achieved
- Undertake administrative tasks associated with end-to-end recruitment and Sectional meetings including arranging room set ups, contacting attendees and minute/note taking, as required.
- Provide administrative support and advice on a range of Human Resources processes, referring any identified issues to the Coordinator Human Resources as follows:
- Employee Probations.
- Temporary employment contracts
- Studies Assistance Program.
- Staff Recognition Program
- Salary Reviews.
- Exit Interviews.
- Annual Staff Development Reviews.
- Induction Program for new employees.
- Monitor and follow up as required, outstanding documentation from new and existing staff, including signed acceptance letters, Police Clearances, licences, Working with Children Checks and Australian working rights/visas etc.
- Complete all relevant standard correspondence and the less complex research and associated report writing required for the Section as well as other associated administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and answering basic correspondence.
- Receive public and general enquiries, complaints, and correspondence, taking appropriate action including providing basic advice to staff, in line with established policies and practices and with the aim of maintaining a strong customer focused service.
- Collate ad hoc and regular statistical data as required ensuring allocated databases are monitored and kept up to date and appropriate actions are followed up as required.
- Follow and comply with all Work, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of others is maintained at all times, including the reporting of unsafe practices or hazards to supervisors or WHS Representatives, whilst protecting the environment and ensuring prevention of pollution
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Coordinator Human Resources within the scope and level of this position.
- Previous relevant administrative experience preferably working within the Human Resources field
- Previous experience in, or exposure to, the recruitment and selection of staff
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of people to ensure delivery of a high level of customer service.
- Effective organisational and administrative skills with proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Possession of, or the ability to acquire, a satisfactory National Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the last twelve months).
