We are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tomingley Gold Operations. This role is ideal for an experienced leader in Heavy Mobile Maintenance, eager to contribute to a growing operation with a strong safety culture.
About the Role
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, your primary focus will be to support operations in achieving mine targets by ensuring the effective execution of maintenance plans, schedules, and reporting. You will play a key role in leading, coaching, and mentoring the workshop crew while ensuring maintenance activities align with operational and financial objectives.
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
1. Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear expectations and monitoring performance.
2. Oversee workshop operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and technical guidance.
3. Provide practical input into maintenance plans to drive operational efficiency.
4. Ensure maintenance activities are completed within budget and resource constraints.
5. Support the Superintendent in safety initiatives, business improvements, and minor projects .
6. Participate actively in incident investigations and safety reporting.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
1. Proven Leading Hand/Supervisor experience in Heavy Mobile Maintenance .
2. Heavy Mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in maintenance or asset management.
3. Experience working with Underground Mining Equipment .
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. A commitment to safety culture and values .
6. Solid understanding of Maintenance and Asset Management principles .
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems (Pronto) .

About Us:
Tomingley Gold Mine, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is situated near the village of Tomingley, 50 km south of Dubbo in Central New South Wales. We have recently celebrated over 10 years of operation. Our current operation runs an underground mine, and a 1.2Mtpa processing plant that is responsible for producing gold bullion on-site. The mine's workforce consists of over 260 permanent employees in various roles.
One significant development for the Tomingley Gold Mine is the expansion approval for both open-cut and underground mines, extending the mine life beyond 2031.
