Key Responsibilities:
* Daily management of Avid Media Composer, NEXIS, DR, Nearline and LTO storage systems.
* Operational monitoring and maintenance of all media and data management systems to ensure optimal performance at all times.
* Designing, testing and troubleshooting local and remote edit suites.
* Providing technical support to staff working remotely and facilitating remote workflows.
* Collaborating with the IT department to resolve network and IT related crossover issues.
* Implementing Post systems on a show-by-show basis and ensuring equipment is deployed and tested before staff starts work.
Requirements:
* High level of knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS environments.
* Proven ability to operate Avid Media Composer and install suites and software.
* Knowledge of existing Post Production techniques, workflows and shared storage systems.
* Understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud suites including Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
* Ability to train staff effectively.
* A calm, organised and methodical approach to work.
* Ability to multitask and work independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Capacity to learn new tasks quickly and meet deadlines.
