Key Responsibilities
1. Guiding and Assisting: Provide personal care support to children and young people, including meals, meal preparation, and hygiene. Plan and attend activities that promote life skills and daily routines.
2. Trauma-Informed Care: Offer sensitive and supportive care to children and young people who have experienced trauma or challenging behaviors.
3. Assessing Needs: Identify individual needs and develop strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child or young person.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant Experience: A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children and young people, preferably in a similar role or related field.
* Essential Qualifications: South Australian Driver's Licence P2 or above, South Australian Working with Children Check, First Aid certificate - HLTAID012 - Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education Setting.
