A Tasmanian N4F looking for a capable business manager to join their team on a 3 months contract.
**Your new company**
A Tasmanian N4P has been providing their services in Tasmania for over 25 years, offering a range of tailored residential and outreach support services to individuals throughout the state. They are globally affiliated and are currently seeking a highly capable Business Services Manager to join their team on a contract full time basis.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the General Manager People and Business Services, this position will see you manage, mentor, support and develop finance and payroll team members. You'll also be responsible for reviewing and improving payroll, Accounting, Finance procedures, and also reviewing and improving cash management processes. Working collaboratively with other departments throughout the organisation, you'll also be responsible for preparing draft budgets and monthly management reports, and ultimately be responsible for preparing the end of financial year Accounts. In addition to this, you'll liaise directly with the Auditors, be responsible for grant acquittals, and develop an internal Audit function.
**What you'll need to succeed**
As the ideal applicant you'll be CA/CPA qualified, with experience managing a team in a medium to large sized organisation and have excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills. You'll also possess strong IT ability, have clear and concise communication skills, and the ability to develop long and lasting internal stakeholder relationships. You'll also hold a driver's licence and the ability to travel state wide occasionally. Experience with Netsuite, Empower or Timefiler would be highly regarded.
