About the Role
The Communications and Engagement Lead provides strategic advice and leads the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans for transport planning, policy, and road operations across the Loddon Mallee and Hume regions. The role requires strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement capability, risk awareness, and the ability to work independently in complex environments. It leads strategic communications and engagement activities, identifying opportunities and managing reputational risks across projects. The role builds strong stakeholder relationships, develops engagement strategies and communication plans, and delivers clear collateral within required timeframes.

Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications, engagement or a similar discipline (mandatory).
* Experience in planning and delivering communications and engagement programs in a public sector, major project, transport or infrastructure (desirable).
