About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Montessori lead educator (childcare group leader) to join our team in a full-time position. The successful candidate will play a key role in guiding our educators, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning practices, and maintaining compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Lead, mentor, and support educators to deliver exceptional learning experiences in alignment with Montessori principles.
* Develop and implement educational programs that meet individual children’s learning needs and interests.
* Demonstrate respect, friendliness, and willingness to help wherever needed.
* Facilitate professional development and reflective practice among educators.
* Collaborate with families, staff, and management to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and document children’s learning outcomes and ensure continuous improvement in educational programs.
* Support the Centre Director in achieving and maintaining high-quality ratings and compliance standards.
Skills and Experience required
* Knowledge and a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2)
* Current
First Aid CPR and emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
* A current and valid
Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership Montessori Lead Educator (Child Care Group Leader) role within an early childhood setting.
* Strong understanding of the Montessori philosophy and its practical application (Montessori qualification or experience highly regarded).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
* Ability to foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
* Commitment to continuous professional learning and reflective practice.
