Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional looking to play a key role in a supportive and growing agribusiness? This is an exciting opportunity to join AGnVET's Accounts Receivable team, where you will provide high-quality finance administration support to both branch teams and external customers.
About The Role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely and customer-focused accounts receivable services. You will work collaboratively with branches and internal stakeholders to ensure debtor accounts are well managed and maintained, while contributing to continuous improvement within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer and internal accounts receivable queries
* Maintain the debtors ledger, including processing new account applications and updating customer records
* Perform accounts receivable administration tasks, including posting journals and issuing invoices
* Maintain accurate accounts receivable records, ensuring debtor aging is up to date
* Work closely with branch teams to resolve outstanding accounts
* Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively with others
* Complete ad hoc tasks as required to support the broader finance team
Essential
About You
* Certificate in Accounting or equivalent practical accounting experience
* Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable and related administration functions, ideally within a retail environment
* High attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Desirable
* Understanding of retail business transactions
* Effective time management, problem-solving and organisational skills
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
