We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our Access Datacom division. Access Datacom specialises in providing complete security and communications solutions to our clients using excellent processes and teams to provide the highest level of service possible.
This is a key operational role supporting service delivery, administration, procurement and logistics, while working closely with technicians, clients and internal stakeholders.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through effective scheduling, work order management, client communication and administrative support.
You will play a central role in coordinating resources, maintaining WHS compliance, managing procurement and supporting financial administration - helping drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance, managing work orders from receipt to completion while monitoring SLAs and KPIs.
* Schedule technicians, optimise routes, manage urgent jobs, and coordinate site access, permits and inductions.
* Provide operational administration support, maintaining accurate records and preparing weekly/monthly performance reports.
* Act as the main point of contact for service delivery, providing client updates, reporting outcomes and escalating risks as required.
* Manage procurement and logistics including purchasing, deliveries, stocktakes, warehouse support and fleet administration.
* Support financial processes by validating job dockets, raising invoices and assisting with debtor follow-up.
* Maintain WHS compliance through risk assessments, monitoring SWMS/JSA adherence and participating in safety consultations and incident management.
* Maintain document control including SOPs, audit documentation and site manuals.
* Assist with the administration of minor quoted works
About You
You are highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment. You enjoy coordinating multiple priorities and are confident engaging with technicians, clients and internal teams.
You will bring:
* Experience in service coordination or operations support (reactive and preventative maintenance)
* Strong administrative and document control skills
* Procurement and logistics experience, including inventory management
* Proficiency in MS Office (experience with SimPro advantageous)
* Strong client communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Excellent attention to detail and reporting capability
