Overview
As the Facilities Manager, you will be delivering the Facilities Team’s services to operate and maintain the Australia Post Enterprise allocated portfolio. These services include designated financial, technical, maintenance, procurement, asset and vendor management programs. You will also be conducting facilities administration duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. You’ll be prioritising stakeholder engagement across the business to ensure that service delivery expectations are met without introducing financial or tenure risk. Routine travel will be required to fulfil Site Inspection obligations across the assigned portfolio (ACT + South West NSW).
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and manage occupier and client relationships to ensure service delivery expectations are fulfilled
- Delivery of customer and property services to a portfolio of buildings
- Conduct building inspections and complete reports within governance timeframe for respective portfolio
- Maintain compliance with regulations / requirements of client contract and all facilities procedures
- Contribute to the effective and efficient operations of portfolio/facilities and share continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with facilities vendors and coordinate facilities works in conjunction with JLL PDS account team
- Deliver facilities related projects in line with agreed budget or works
- Manage and monitor service outputs to meet KPI and service level targets; report regularly to key stakeholders
- Understand the operational and technical requirements of the site elements for which JLL is responsible

- Prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related field preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities or Trade related fields desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to interpret and analyse numerical data for reporting
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property (e.g., Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller, Fire Protection, Mechanical and Electrical systems, BMS) is advantageous
- Experience in front and back-office processes with strong administrative skills
- Strong customer service focus with excellent people skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Strong PC literacy and ability to manage daily activities using various systems
- Demonstrated client reporting and continuous improvement capabilities
- Understanding of reactive and routine maintenance requiring 24-hour call out across the portfolio
