We are seeking a skilled Public Relations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our reputation, protect our interests, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
About the Role
* Develop and implement strategic PR and corporate communications plans;
* Secure widespread editorial coverage across diverse media, including automotive and lifestyle;
* Manage public responses to critical business issues and coordinate internal stakeholders;
* Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships across all communication channels;
* Oversee external communications through media, website, and social media, including press fleet and product launches;
* Ensure consistent internal and external messaging and manage crisis communications;
* Identify and develop compelling internal news stories and content;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree qualification in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing;
* At least 10 years of experience in PR and Communications, with a proven track record of developing and delivering effective strategies;
* Extensive experience leading a small team and managing multiple priorities;
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills;
* High levels of creativity and initiative;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills;
* A valid driver's licence and general automotive industry knowledge (highly regarded).
