At Diverseco, we invest in early-career talent and provide
hands-on learning, mentoring, and exposure to real-world engineering projects
that build strong foundations for long-term careers.
About the Graduate Program & Role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate
Engineer (only available to candidates 0–2 years' experience) to join our
Automation and Supply Chain Solutions Graduate Program, based in Underwood,
Queensland.
This role is designed for recent graduates or engineers at
the very early stages of their career who are eager to learn, develop, and gain
broad exposure across the full lifecycle of automation and intralogistics
projects.
Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will rotate
across presales support, system design, project delivery, and post-installation
support—developing both technical capability and commercial awareness. You will
be supported through structured mentoring, on-the-job learning, and clear
development pathways.
What You'll Be Learning & Doing
As part of the graduate program, you will progressively
build capability in the following areas:
* Supporting
the Automation and Supply Chain Solutions teams to deliver strategic and
project objectives
* Assisting
with presales activities, including technical documentation and pricing
support
* Gaining
exposure to project delivery, including scope understanding, cost models,
and design concepts
* Preparing
client-facing documentation such as user manuals, SAT/FAT documents, and
service checklists
* Providing
technical and customer support, including across different time zones as
required
* Participating
in product development activities and engineering studies to evaluate new
technologies
* Learning
to research, select, and apply sensors, control devices, and communication
technologies
* Working
closely with service teams to support installations and post-project
handovers
* Always
working in line with OHS and company safety standards
About You
You are a motivated graduate engineer who is curious,
hands-on, and eager to learn. You enjoy working as part of a team, are
comfortable asking questions, and are excited by the opportunity to apply your
studies to real engineering challenges.
This role is ideal if you are looking for your first or
second role after university and want structured development rather than being
"thrown in the deep end."
What You Bring
Essential:
* Bachelor's
degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechatronics, Control Systems,
Computer Systems, Computer Science, or similar)
* 0–2
years of relevant experience (including internships, placements, or
graduate roles)

in automation, control systems, robotics, or industrial technology
* Strong
analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Clear
verbal and written communication skills
* A
collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
* Proactive
attitude and strong work ethic
Desirable:
* Exposure
to automated or industrial systems through university projects,
placements, or work experience
* Basic
experience with CAD and Microsoft Office
* Strong
attention to detail
* Willingness
to travel domestically or internationally as your role develops
