Aged Care Home and Community Support
Supporting older Australians to live independently in their own homes requires a unique blend of personal care, domestic assistance, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing daily tasks such as light house cleaning and meal preparation to promote clients' comfort and dignity.
* Providing personal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring of health and wellbeing to ensure the highest level of care.
* Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social activities to foster connections and independence.
* Assisting with daily routines and tasks to enhance clients' quality of life.
* BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND COMPASSIONATE CARE.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing Support or similar qualification demonstrating a strong foundation in aged care principles.
* An Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance ensuring safe transportation for clients.
* EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS, FAMILIES, AND COLLEAGUES.
* PASSIONATE ABOUT MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN OUR AGEING COMMUNITY BY DELIVERING HIGH-QUALITY CARE AND SERVICES.
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (obtained prior to employment) ensuring the highest level of client safety.
