Logistics Manager
We are seeking an accomplished Logistics Manager to lead the Warehouse team at one of our facilities in Adelaide.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse leadership within regulated or pharmaceutical industries and a strong background in project management and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop warehouse staff to meet KPIs and drive high performance aligned with business objectives.
* Define and lead projects to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
* Oversee daily processing, packing, dispatch of domestic orders, and international shipping—coordinate with freight forwarders and third-party providers.
* Manage receipt, quarantine, storage, dispatch, and return of materials and goods; conduct cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
* Ensure proper documentation, storage, validation, and coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams on quarantine and release issues.
* Liaise with customers and coordinate export documentation and shipping.
* Manage health, safety, and environmental standards—conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, training, and hazard mitigation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in warehouse leadership within regulated or pharmaceutical industries is essential.
* Strong background in project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Proficient in inventory control, logistics documentation, and export/import coordination.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Solid financial acumen for budget control and cost optimization.
* Commitment to EHS standards, with experience in risk management and safety protocols.
