About the Hospital:

Armidale Rural Referral Hospital is a 99-bed facility providing a comprehensive range of services including acute medical and surgical services, obstetrics, paediatrics, and diagnostic and allied health services. Our hospital has a busy emergency department, a Level 3 Close Observation Unit, mental health unit, and renal dialysis unit.

About the Role:

This role requires a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Australian College of Rural Remote Medicine, and/or overseas-trained specialist pathways or nearing completion of Fellowship. The ideal candidate must have recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice, completion or current undertaking of an Emergency Life Support course, and skill/experience in Emergency Medicine.
