Our Federal Government client is seeking a
**Property Finance Officer** who can undertake a range of financial activates, primarily relating to accounting and budget management

**About the role**:

- Assist with undertaking month end processing activities for the branch
- Assist with the development and management of budget and forecasts for the branch
- Manage account payable and receivable activities for the branch, including reconciling mid-month and end-of-month invoices for property operating expense and rent
- Maintain a contract register, including creation of contract variations and processing contract claims
- Deliver data analytics to support branch activities and ensure quality assurance
- Develop and implement robust quality assurance strategies, policies, and guidance material
- Provide strategic advice and assistance to the Senior Executives and stakeholders based on technical expertise

**Ideally you will**:

- Operate under limited direction, with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability
- Work positively and collaboratively, with a focus on customer service
- Have the ability to coordinate work, manage competing priorities and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Communicate in plain English and employ well-developed interpersonal skills
- Have experience using Technology One systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
- Have experience with financial management of property operating and capital budgeting and expenditure
