Training provided & learning outcomes to be achieved
Interns will join a small, collaborative team working on the development and enhancement of a web application. The internship will begin with setting up the existing codebase, understanding its logic, and documenting the system to prepare it for team collaboration.
Training will include:
* Codebase Familiarisation – Setting up and running an existing Python/Flask project locally.
* System Documentation – Reverse-engineering existing logic and creating documentation for improved team collaboration.
* Software Development Practices – Applying coding standards, version control, and workflow management.
* Feature Development – Proposing, testing, and implementing new features once the system is stabilised.
* Team Collaboration – Learning best practices in collaborative coding, agile workflows, and project organisation.
Interns will receive mentorship from experienced developers, gaining hands‐on experience with real‐world code, workflow tools, and software engineering practices.
By the end of the internship, participants will have developed practical technical skills, improved their problem‐solving abilities, and gained valuable experience in collaborative software development.
