This position will be based on Various projects based in NSW.

What You'll Be Doing
* Contribute to exciting and high‐profile projects for key clients such as Sydney Water.
* Conduct HSEQ inspections, observations, and audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
* Partner closely with the HSEQ Manager to develop and implement strategies that foster a strong, positive safety culture across the business.
* Develop and implement Procedures, Safety Management Plans (SMPs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and associated documentation for new and existing contracts.
* Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to manage incidents, quality standards, and environmental performance.
* Lead incident investigations, drive the implementation of corrective and preventative actions, and ensure timely close‐out.
* Analyse project safety performance, identify trends, and introduce proactive initiatives to continuously enhance safety outcomes.
* Support engineering teams to maintain quality assurance and environmental compliance.
* Compile and report monthly HSE statistics and assist with external audits.
Is This Role Right for You?
* Proven experience in a WHS/EHS role, ideally within Sydney Water projects or similar infrastructure environments.
* 5–10 years' experience in the construction industry.
* Demonstrated ability to manage EHS performance across multiple projects or contracts simultaneously.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications in WHS/EHS.
* Strong working knowledge of Australian WHS and environmental legislation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accountability.
