Lions Optics is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Optical Dispenser to join our friendly and dynamic team in Nedlands, WA.

The Opportunity:
Lions Optics provides a wide range of optical services and products including:
Comprehensive eye testing, including Retinal Photography
Broad range of both budget and designer frames
Private health cover direct claiming facility (HICAPS)
Referrals to eye specialists
Selection of magnifiers and low vision aids
Spectacle repairs and adjustments.
As a result of its close association with the Lions Eye Institute, Lions Optics is familiar with, and takes pride in filling, the sometimes unusual prescriptions that can come its way from LEI eye specialists.
Key responsibilities will include:
Achieve department productivity, financial and quality goals as set by management
General administrative and clerical support
Perform month end procedures and prepare reports as required
Data entry; extensive knowledge of the Sunix optical software system
Provide excellent customer service and maintain and enhance the Institute's reputation
Assist clients in selecting frames according to style, colour and any other individual specifications
General infection control
General repairs to damaged and worn frames
Experienced in dispensing or have prior optical experience
Motivated, eager to learn new skills, and excited to collaborate with a close-knit team
Known for your exceptional customer service and willingness to go the extra mile
Able to build strong rapport and lasting relationships with customers
An excellent communicator who thrives in a people-focused environment
