You'll build strong community connections and be part of a passionate network aiming to be Australia's best pathology provider.Why You Will Like Working HereWe are transforming the way we work, offering flexible roles including full-time, part-time, and casual positions across local clinics, minimizing commute times and maximizing work-life balance.We support your growth with regular check-ins, ongoing support, recognition programs, and clear career progression paths, including opportunities for managerial roles and further education.A Bit About UsHealius operates over 100 medical laboratories and 2000 patient collection centres nationwide, providing a significant share of Australia's pathology services, from hospitals to remote Indigenous communities, offering stability, security, and mobility for your career.What You Will Be DoingAs a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and other samples, ensuring care and attention, maintaining meticulous records, and liaising with patients, clinic staff, and couriers to deliver timely results.Your key responsibilities include:Collecting blood and non-blood samples with careMaintaining accurate records for each patient and sampleDelivering documentation within specified turnaround timesPreparing and packaging specimens for transport and testingCommunicating effectively with customers, staff, and couriersWhat Type of Person Will Be SuccessfulWe are seeking experienced Pathology Collectors or those with Cert III in Pathology Collection, healthcare backgrounds, or Registered Nurses seeking regular daytime shifts instead of weekends and overnights.
