About You
LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown is seeking an enthusiastic Trade Trainer to work at our school. As a suitably qualified Trainer, you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles. You will also play a vital part in developing and implementing effective lesson plans to ensure high-quality student learning and engagement.
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate:
- ability to deliver high quality, personalised training specific to the qualification
- ability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students
- ability to liaise with industry representatives whilst supporting the workplace learning program
- effective teaching/coaching skills
- sound written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students
- ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators
- a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
- experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (highly desirable).
You will have attained:
- relevant industry qualifications in Fitness
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or be prepared to obtain).
