The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a student residence facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students living away from home.
This role involves providing leadership and support to staff members responsible for engagement, safeguarding, wellbeing, and supervision of residents, with a focus on building self-esteem, resilience, and capacity among students.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of the student residence facility
* Lead and support staff members in their roles
* Ensure delivery of a safe and supported service to students
In addition, this role requires collaboration with college wellbeing and leadership teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People and a strong understanding of the needs of students living away from home.
