Our client is a growing service-based business with a strong reputation, quality leads coming in daily, and an excellent track record of delivering for customers.

What they need now is the right person to help convert more opportunities into sales.

This is not an administration role and it's not a traditional office manager position. We are seeking a commercially minded Sales & Scheduling Manager who can lead from the front, improve sales performance, coach staff, and implement systems that drive consistent business growth.

The business already generates quality enquiries through a strong digital presence and marketing strategy. Your focus will be ensuring those enquiries are converted into customers through effective follow‐up, strong customer engagement, and a structured sales process.

You'll work closely with the business owner, operations team, field staff, and remote marketing support team to improve sales performance, customer experience, and overall business efficiency.

The Role

As the Sales & Scheduling Manager, you will take ownership of the customer journey from enquiry through to conversion while overseeing scheduling and supporting operational delivery.

You will lead a small team and play a key role in developing staff, improving processes, and creating accountability around sales outcomes.

This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll be expected to both do the work and coach others to improve their performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Convert enquiries into sales through proactive customer engagement and follow‐up
* Manage and improve quote follow‐up processes to maximise conversion rates
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‐sell additional services
* Analyse lost opportunities and implement strategies to improve future outcomes
* Lead, coach and develop team members to improve sales performance
* Oversee scheduling and workflow coordination
* Work closely with operations staff to ensure customer expectations are delivered
* Develop systems that enable field staff to identify and generate repeat business opportunities
* Monitor sales activity, conversion rates and key performance indicators
* Collaborate with remote marketing resources to improve lead quality and marketing effectiveness
* Drive continuous improvement across sales, scheduling and customer service processes
* Participate in strategic planning and business improvement initiatives with the business owner

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

* Previous experience in sales leadership, internal sales, business development or customer service management
* A proven ability to convert leads into customers
* Strong people leadership and coaching skills
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building abilities
* A process‐driven and organised approach to work
* Strong commercial awareness and problem‐solving capability
* The confidence to hold team members accountable while providing support and development
* Experience working within small to medium‐sized businesses will be highly regarded
