The Opportunity
As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a team of Trades Personnel across a dedicated portfolio, reporting to the Operations Manager. You will primarily work a 5/2 roster and be responsible for the seamless coordination of Trades personnel, resources, and client communication for your respective business unit (Field Service or Fabrication).
We are seeking two highly organised, proactive, and experienced individuals to join our team in the pivotal roles of:
1. Field Service Coordinator
2. Fabrication Coordinator
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Rostering & Mobilisation: Monitoring personnel availability, engaging with clients to fill roster gaps and solving labour shortages
- Administration & Finance: Delivering job-specific work instructions, approving timesheets and leave and raising purchase orders
- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Providing ongoing support and maintaining positive relationships with clients and employees. Regular site visits will be crucial to your success.
- Process Management: Ensuring all jobs are updated daily in EXO and closed out monthly and monitoring non-productive hours.
- Compliance: Adhering to the Quality and Safety Management Systems to ensure company and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful, you will possess:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate: In Mobile Plant / Diesel Mechanic, Fabrication or a similar engineering trade.
- Extensive Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years working within the Western Australian mining mobile maintenance sector.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage with people from a broad range of backgrounds.
- Critical Behaviours: Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, along with efficient time management skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, EXO, INX,
- Licences (Essential): A current valid driver's licence
