The role of Plant Mechanic is a vital part of our team, requiring the safe and effective maintenance of heavy earth moving plant equipment. Reporting to the Field Maintenance Supervisor, you will be an integral member of the Field Maintenance team.
Job Description:
* Undertake planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work across our site.
* Work on a variety of plant and equipment to keep the operation running smoothly and reduce downtime.
* In-pit diagnosis and repair of machinery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant Mechanical Trade qualification or equivalent.
* Open Cut Coal Mining experience (desirable).
* Demonstrated exposure to computerized maintenance management systems and knowledge of SAP (desirable).
