The Business Development Manager Role
We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager to support SCC's ongoing growth in metering, EV infrastructure, and electrical services. You will identify and secure new business opportunities, lead proposals and client engagement, and collaborate with operations to ensure seamless handover and delivery.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and convert new business opportunities
* Lead tender submissions and commercial proposals
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Engage with partners, councils, and commercial clients
* Provide commercial input into bids, contract negotiations, and pricing
* Support strategic planning with market insights and structured reporting
Your Background
You have a proven background in business development, project delivery, or account management within utilities, construction, or technical services. You are commercially sharp and confident with tenders and contract negotiation.
You possess a practical, solutions-focused approach with excellent client-facing skills. You are willing to travel interstate to connect with clients and delivery partners.
