Theatre Technician – Perioperative Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated theatre technician to support our perioperative services. This permanent part-time position requires advanced technical skills and involves supporting surgical operations while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and safety is essential in this role.
Supporting theatre teams with tasks such as preparing equipment, supplies, and setting up the operating room environment.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflows and effective patient care.
* Safely handling and disposing of medical waste and biohazard materials.
* Ensuring theatre areas remain clean, well-maintained, and meet strict infection control guidelines.
* Monitoring and reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technical Support or relevant qualification.
At least 2 years of experience working in a hospital theatre environment.
