About the Role: The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Activity Supervisor to join our Forensic Mental Health Service. The Service includes inpatient secure psychiatric beds, outpatient services, prison in‐reach, community team, and court assessment.
The Activity Supervisor is part of the Occupational Therapy Department and supports Occupational Therapists in delivering services to patients. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will design and deliver therapeutic activities that support rehabilitation and recovery for some of our community's most vulnerable members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and facilitate group and individual therapeutic activities
* Co‐develop tailored programmes that promote social skills and independence
* Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure activities align with treatment goals
* Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
* Ensure safe and supportive environments for all participants
Qualifications: Minimum Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
About You: You have experience in activity coordination, preferably within mental health or disability services. You demonstrate strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively within a secure health‐care environment.
