About the Role
Aramex Toowoomba is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Operations and Customer Support Assistant to join our team.
This dual-role position is vital in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day operational functions of the depot. From front-desk interactions to coordinating with couriers and ensuring compliance with scanning and back-office processes, this is a hands-on role that suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver high levels of customer service and exceed customer expectations.
* Build strong working relationships with courier franchisees, contractors, and customers.
* Ensure compliance with Aramex systems, procedures, and brand standards.
* Manage front-office consignments, promotional orders, and marketing materials.
* Assist in the collection of revenue and support operational profitability.
* Provide timely, accurate reports and updates to the Branch Manager.
* Ensure compliance with legal, WHS, and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
* Maintain scanning compliance and assist with depot operations.
* Proactively communicate operational updates or incidents to the Branch Manager.
To be successful in this role:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service role.
* Experience in logistics, freight, or transport is advantageous.
* Forklift license is not required but advantageous.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with high attention to detail.
* Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
