Your Role as a Domestic & Laundry Worker
Role
As a Domestic & Laundry Worker, your role will be integral to ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for our residents. You will:
* Perform domestic cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning resident areas and common spaces
* Handle laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning residents' clothing and linen
* Ensure the safe handling of chemicals and cleaning equipment, in line with Workplace Health & Safety protocols
* Replenish consumables and manage waste disposalEnsure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, meeting the expectations set by the Aged Care Quality Standards
* Support the dignity and wellbeing of residents by maintaining a clean and comfortable living space
What You'll Bring
Essential
* Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Commitment to respect, dignity, and service excellence
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness and hygiene
* Willingness to follow instructions and uphold high standards
Desirable
* Previous experience in an aged care or hospitality setting
* Italian language skills (advantageous)
* Driver's license (preferred)
