Role Brief
Driving a Kenworth T908 with sleeper cab, typical jobs will be delivering cotton modules from paddock to the gin and grain to both on farm and off-site storage facilities and to the Darling Downs. Other ad hoc haulage as required through the farming season.
General Functions and Tasks
* Loading, transport and unloading in a timely manner
* Comply with all legislation regarding speed limits, driving hours and fatigue management (as per the Fatigue Management Plan), mass and axle load weights (as per the Mass Management Manual), etc
* Comply with all regulations imposed by the company and clients regarding parking, loading, weighbridge use and the wearing of protective clothing and equipment
* Comply with all company policies and procedures and standard operating procedures
* Maintain work diaries as required
* Complete and submit company log sheets and other documentation as required
* Report any vehicle faults for maintenance
* Display a friendly, courteous demeanour to colleagues
Requirements
* Current NSW Multi Combination (MC) drivers licence
* Several years experience driving multi-combination vehicles
* Previous grain carting experience
* Have strong commitment to safety
