Position Overview
The Central Enablement Lead (CET Lead) serves as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Director. CET Lead is a pivotal strategic and operational leader within Vines Institute. Operating under the strategic vision and direction of the Executive Director, the role is initially focused on accelerating growth through client acquisition and talent recruitment, and evolves into a core executive function guiding shared services, enabling operational alignment, and supporting the Executive Director in delivering institutional priorities.
This is a phased role with two distinct stages of contribution:
Phase 1: Strategic Growth Driver (Months 0–6)
Purpose: To drive near-term growth through focused client acquisition, talent recruitment, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute client acquisition strategies across digital and referral channels
* Oversee marketing campaign delivery in collaboration with the marketing agency
* Coordinate talent attraction initiatives aligned with Vines Therapy and Institute workforce needs
* Supervise part-time Client Engagement Consultant
* Track outreach KPIs, campaign effectiveness, and talent pipeline metrics
Phase 2: Strategic Integrator (Chief of Staff) (Beyond 6 Months)
Purpose: To lead Central Enablement as a shared services hub, manage operational rhythms, and support the Executive Director in executing strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the CET team (client, growth, business enablement functions)
* Operationalise quarterly plans and strategic initiatives set by the Executive Director
* Manage institutional rhythms: team standups, progress tracking, quarterly reviews
* Embed cultural rituals and internal communication loops
* Oversee internal reporting, documentation, and SOP development
* Prepare for onboarding of future CET roles (e.g. Culture Lead, Growth Coordinator)
* Collaborate with clinical, research, program, and future enterprise venture teams to ensure coordinated delivery of shared services and strategic initiatives
Capabilities & Attributes
* Proven experience in startup, consulting, operations, or strategy roles
* Ability to move between execution and leadership with ease
* Excellent communication, strategic coordination, systems thinking, and stakeholder management
* Aligned with the mission and rhythm of a purpose-driven, multi-disciplinary organisation
* Demonstrated ability to lead in alignment with organisational values such as justice, wisdom, wholeness, and innovation
* High emotional intelligence, discretion and trust
* Capacity to lead without ego and represent the Executive Director's intent with clarity and care
Desirable Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Health Administration, Strategic Communication, or a related field. (Postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not required)
* Minimum of 5+ years in cross-functional roles across two or more of the following domains: Strategic operations, Growth and marketing, Client enablement or experience, People/talent functions, Project or systems management
* Comfort with platforms such as digital, marketing workflow platforms and productivity apps and Google Workspace.
* Experience in allied health, education, consulting, or mission-led enterprise a plus

Long-Term Opportunity
This role is a launchpad for expanded executive leadership in operations, growth, or strategic enablement. As the Institute scales, the Central Enablement Lead will shape team structures and potentially evolve into Group Enablement Executive.
