Role
Reporting to the Group Electrical Manager, you will be managing a team of experienced Electrical Project Engineers responsible for delivering green and brownfield projects from sales hand over to installation, and commissioning.
As Electrical Project Engineering Manager you will lead and motivate a team of high achievers. This will include:
* Leading the planning and conduct of engineering activities and provide technical leadership to the electrical project engineering team for the successful delivery of industrial food processing systems.
* Managing the entire electrical project lifecycle including design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
* Being accountable and ensure that required engineering products and activities are produced in accordance with the approved procedures, within the allocated budgets and meet or exceed quality standards.
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical teams, project managers, fabrication, logistics and commissioning teams, to ensure seamless delivery of our equipment.
* Managing risk, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project completion.
* Fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the project engineering team.
* Developing and implementing engineering strategies that align with the company's business objectives and goals.
Qualifications
To be successful you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
* RPEQ and CPEng.
* At least 5 years' experience in leading a team of electrical engineers delivering solutions in control systems and automated equipment design essential.
* Related experience in the food processing industry will be highly regarded.
* Sound knowledge of electrical engineering standards.
* Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation and in all forms.
* Exceptional work ethic and the ability to work to organisational values.
