We are actively seeking **experienced Electrical Foreman** to join us in our African Operations on a **6 week on, 4 weeks off roster.**
- planning of all onsite electrical installation/maintenance activities,
- electrical maintenance of drill fleet

- installation/maintenance of AutoMine remote systems
- communications system installation/maintenance (fleet & underground) - digital (Becker NCS)
- statutory and preventative maintenance compliance
- repair and maintenance of dewatering pumps (submersible & centrifugal (Stalker))
- stock/inventory control,
- records keeping (SLD's, asset registers, ERB, maintenance, etc.)
- training of national workforce as required,
- work closely with client electrical dept for HV reticulation installation & planning.
- work with client projects teams as required.
- A minimum of current A grade electrical license
- HV switching, certification and jointing.
- At least 5 years' experience of underground electrical supervision
- Experience with Pronto or SAP
- Demonstrated ability to design and drive long term change processes.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring and influencing skills, proven self-starter with highly developed management and leadership qualities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands on approach to lead by example
This position is a hands-on role and responsible in ensuring the effective transfer of skills and knowledge to National electrical personnel in HV preventative, scheduled and breakdown maintenance at the mine site, with all work performed in a safe and efficient manner.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Carry out scheduled (1000v, 11kv and 33kv) electrical servicing in a secure manner and in accordance with procedures, regulations, and the service sheet.
- Carry out all repairs in accordance with AUMS procedures.
- Completes all service sheets and document additional repairs completed during servicing.
- Maintains a high level of housekeeping in the workshop and working areas at all times.
- Read and interpret Service and Spare parts manuals.
- Advise the electrical workshop supervisors of parts used and any additional part requirements.
- Train and mentor National electrical personnel to support a constructive team environment.
- Report all equipment faults to the Electrical Foreman for scheduling into the weekly electrical maintenance plan.
- Monitor shift reports - schedule any outstanding work from the previous shift.
- Monitor the availability of tools & test instruments given to the national employees & carry out weekly inspections of tool bags.
