What You'll be Doing
The Senior Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective administrative and office management solutions and related support services to the SWSLHD Oral Health Services (OHS) staff, Managers and Director to support with efficient day to day operation of the OHS.
To establish and maintain high level administrative systems for office management, human resources management including recruitment and credentialing of Dental Officers, Dental Specialists, Honorary Dental Officers/Specialists, Visiting Dental Officers and University Clinical Educators.

SWSLHD Oral Health Services provide essential dental care to eligible residents across South Western Sydney.
Covering the local government areas of Bankstown, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Liverpool, Wingecarribee, and Wollondilly, these services include general dental care, emergency dental treatment, and specialised programs for children and vulnerable populations.
The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible treatment. - Relevant qualifications in business administration, management, or administration and / or senior administrative experience in managing a team while supporting a general manager/service director in a complex organisation.
- Describe your experience in managing complex administrative tasks and making independent decisions, including coordinating multiple projects, resolving problems, and handling sensitive or high-pressure situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Outline your experience using healthcare-related software systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Health Roster, StaffLink, Titanium, Cerner PAS), and supporting recruitment processes, ministerial correspondence, and accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
