There is now an exciting opportunity to join the RME People team on a 6-month, fixed-term basis in the dual role of Receptionist / Human Resources (HR) Administrator.
The Receptionist / HR Administrator provides both 'front-of-house' support to RME, along with the provision of administrative support to RME's HR team.
**MAJOR DUTIES**
**Receptionist**
- Providing exceptional Customer service, both over the phone and in person;
- Answering the telephone, handling enquiries and, where necessary, directing calls to the correct RME employee;
- Handling inward and outward post / courier;
- Assisting visitors with the sign-in / sign-out process when they enter and exit the premises;
- Making bookings, e.g. company vehicles, conference rooms, catering (as required);
- Assisting with RME events such as conferences, luncheons, etc. (as required); and
- General administrative duties such as printing, scanning and filing of documentation.
**HR Administrator**
- Arranging interviews;
- Arranging pre-employment checks during the recruitment process;
- Conducting new employee inductions;
- Assisting with documentation drafting such as contracts and various other employee documentation;
- Data entry and maintenance of systems for new and current employees throughout the employment lifecycle;
- Providing general HR guidance and support to employees; and
- Generating reports and collating information to support managers.
**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
**Required**
- 2+ years administrative, clerical and / or reception experience in a medium-sized organisation;
- Exceptional Customer service skills;
- Well-presented, highly professional and congenial manner;
- High-level written and spoken communication skills across all methods of correspondence;
- Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks;
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to discretely handle confidential information and situations with a high level of professionalism; and
- High level of computer literacy, including intermediate Microsoft Office software.
**Desirable**
- HR Administration experience is a distinct advantage.
**Special Conditions**
- Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
