Applications open until Sept 8th. We are a small, family-owned clinic based in Castlemaine & Melbourne, looking to add to our small team of creative, empathetic and friendly Early Intervention Specialists.
Approach and Setting
We use a play-based therapy approach that is flexible, dynamic and tailored to the child\'s unique interests and needs. We use a family-centred and coaching-based approach where the parent and child\'s priorities and needs are at the forefront. We welcome applicants with curiosity, playfulness, creativity and willingness to learn. We bring together passions in music, yoga, gardening, art and dance in therapy sessions and invite you to share your passions too. We have a fully equipped Sensory Gym and offer nature-based therapy in our garden, at the nature reserve or playground, as well as sessions at home, Kinder or school.

If you are an early career therapist, you will receive 4 weeks of paid 1:1 direct training, joint sessions, shadowing and coaching before you take your own independent caseload.

Essential Requirements
- Relevant qualification at Bachelor level or above in Primary Teaching, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Special Education, Art Therapy or Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with your relevant professional body
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
- First Aid & CPR Training or willingness to obtain
- A full driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- The right to live and work in Australia long-term
- Able to commit to minimum 12 month contract
- A demonstrable passion for working with children and young people
- Flexibility, creativity and spontaneity - a willingness to follow a child\'s lead and have fun
