About State Emergencies and Support Command (SESC)
State Emergencies and Support Command drives Victoria Police's strategic agenda and operational response for emergency management, custodial management, and events management.
The State Emergencies and Support Command is a highly focused and dynamic Command that identifies and delivers key priorities and essential services for Victoria Police to ensure the safety of the Victorian community. The Command is an integral part of Victoria Police and aims to provide public value and enhance community confidence in Victoria Police through its support of the organisation's operational functions. The Operational Communications Division (OCD) within SESC is responsible for the service delivery of the Police Assistance Line and Online Reporting (PAL/OLR), Triple Zero Computer Aided Dispatch, Metropolitan Mobile Radio, Regional Mobile Radio and Managed Device Service.
The role reports to the Project Director STS7. The position is based at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands 3008, however you may be required to work at any other division within the Command and travel to other Victoria Police sites as required.

Your duties will include:
1. Reporting to the Project Director STS7 you will manage your assigned projects and business initiatives under limited supervision to ensure project objectives are achieved,
2. Monitoring and reporting on tasks to ensure targets are achieved in accordance with project plans and timelines,
3. Prepare high quality reports, briefing notes and analysis papers addressed to a range of stakeholders including senior management,
4. Ensure environmental factors such as policies, protocols and legislation are accounted for when developing and implementing projects,
5. Participate in the development of broader projects and initiatives improving service delivery and implementing new policies within the Division.

6. Demonstrated project management skills within a dynamic, fluid and reactive environment, maintaining attention to detail at all times,
7. The ability to research and effectively manage planning and reporting tasks within strict timeframes,
8. Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a broad audience,
9. The ability to effectively monitor stakeholder satisfaction to ensure positive outcomes are achieved,
10. A commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality in line with Victoria Police Code of Ethics and Conduct, Organisational Values and the Financial Code of Practice.
Requirements and relevant information:
11. One (1) x full time, fixed term position until 31/12/2025 is available
12. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
13. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
