About the Role
As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
* Open space maintenance of council reserves across municipality of Knox
* Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed spraying
* Safely operating and maintaining machinery
* Ensuring all work is accurately recorded
* Observing and reporting any issues that may impact service delivery
About You
* Must hold a Valid C Class Manual (C) Licence
* Ride on Mower experience essential
* Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
* Ability to operate Zero Turn Mowers, brush cutters and small power equipment
* Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
* Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
