The Opportunity
KBR is seeking a Fundamental Inputs to Capability (FIC) Coordinator to support our Aerospace Program to achieve the following outcomes:
1. Group coordination of FIC activities
2. Provide SME advice and support to leads on FIC issues.
3. Represent the project at key coordination meetings for FIC matters.
4. Coordinate, prepare, and manage FIC related activities and documentation.
5. Provide regular updates on FIC progress/issues and impacts to cost and schedule.
6. Engagement with relevant stakeholders.
7. Contribute to the development of best-practice project management within FAMSPO through inputs to development of processes, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across our integrated teams.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
8. Demonstrated competence and experience in Project Management and/or Integrated Logistics Support at skill Level 3 Practitioner (or above)
9. Effective stakeholder management and written and oral communication skills
10. Demonstrated experience working effectively within an integrated team environment
11. Demonstrated competence and experience with the One Defence Capability System process
12. Ability to work autonomously, and demonstrate an ability to meet demanding milestones
13. Knowledge of Defence Writing standards
14. Knowledge of internal Defence processes
15. Strong client and staff engagement, relationship and communication skills
16. Defence industry experience (ideally working above the line)
This role requires immediate access to secure facilities and a current NV1 security clearance. This role is based out of Brindabella Park, Canberra, and requires infrequent travel to other bases.
