Job Description
**Your opportunity to join our team**
Our Inghams Breeder Farm located at Pakenham is looking to employ a full time Assistant Farm Manager. This farm focuses on providing fertile eggs to our hatcheries. This leadership position also involves hands on responsibility including egg collection, load out, cleaning and maintenance.
**Daily Tasks**
- Supervision of up to 12 staff and assist in compliance training for the site
- Work planning and prioritising
- Labour efficiency's within defined areas
- Minimum standards and animal welfare objectives are achieved.
- A willingness to coach and develop team members
- Have good organisational and time management skills
- Manage the farm in the absence of the Farm Manager
**You will bring to this role**
- Flexibility to work hours as the rotating roster requires early mornings and weekend work.
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Mechanically minded
- Previous farming experience is desirable
