Our small but dynamic team specialises in delivering digital marketing and public relations solutions for a cross section of clients within the tourism, events and e-commerce sectors.
The Casual Marketing Assistant will be the right-hand extraordinaire to our Creative Director, helping to keep our campaigns and reporting on track.
If you're an organised go getter studying in a relevant field or perhaps are looking to broaden your marketing and communications skills, this role will suit.
The role:
* Build, test and schedule email marketing campaigns (using Mailchimp, Brevo and Klaviyo)
* User test websites, pages and digital campaigns
* Assist with the research and writing of feature editorial and travel stories
* Respond to project and media enquiries as required
* Contribute to our project management software to ensure our campaigns and projects stay on track and deliverable deadlines are met
* Work with our Content Creator to ensure client content schedules are being fulfilled and align with paid advertising campaigns
* Social media moderation as required
* Filing, admin, data entry and responding to client facing and stakeholder emails
* Assistance collecting and collating research materials and information
* Database updates
* Monthly reporting using office systems and data platforms
* Deploy digital assets including blog posts, social posts, native articles and digital campaigns as per client campaign schedules.
Required skills
* Extremely organised with high attention to detail
* Strong written communication skills with demonstrated spelling and grammatical accuracy
* Willingness to pitch in – we are a small team and all work together to achieve client outcomes
* Ability to use Office tools including Outlook, Word and Excel
Who would this position suit:
* University student or graduate looking at getting broad marketing and public relations experience
* Parent with past admin or marketing experience looking for flexible work around school hours
Full training will be provided for the role, however experience with any of the following will be considered an advantage:
* Canva
* Mailchimp, Brevo or Klaviyo
* Shopify or Wordpress
* Meta business suite and social media tools
* Prior experience within a marketing or administration role
This role is for two days per week with the opportunity to grow into additional hours and days as your skillset broadens.
The role is based in our commercial office in Tingalpa.
